Georg Hagedorn (Heidi)

Dusseldorf, Germany

Georg Hagedorn was born in 1969 into a non-religious home and came to a personal faith in Jesus Christ through his colleagues during a training in electronics. After his time at Bible College in England and the US, he began translating Christian media and interpreting for well-known Bible teachers, which deepened his connection to Israel ministries.

His passion for the Jewish people and love for teaching the Word of God eventually led him to join FOI full-time in 2015, and he is now leading the growing German FOI team as Field Coordinator. He has been married to his dear wife, Heidi, for over 30 years, and they have three adult children and two grandchildren.

Joachim Klotz (Jennifer)

Lemgo, Germany

Joachim serves with the FOI International Team in Germany. He and his wife Jennifer along with their four children live in Lemgo, Germany. Joachim uses his teaching gift and experience as a former Bible school professor to teach the churches in Germany what the Bible says about Israel. He also works to develop relationships with Jewish people and share the good news about Messiah’s work for all people. He also translates dispensational books and resources into German for the cause of Christ.

German Ministry Outreach

It was because of the horrors of World War II and Nazi Germany that the Friends of Israel began as a relief organization to the Jewish people. Today, our German workers have no shortage of opportunities to continue ministering to Jewish people in Europe. We share the love of Messiah by standing against antisemitism, offering support to Jewish communities and teaching Christians that God still loves and has plans for the Jewish people. Good German-language literature is desperately needed for these purposes. A major ministry focus for our team is translating FOI’s magazine Israel My Glory, (Israel Mein Erbe), books and other resources.
